Application Schedule

1st Round: Now-5:00 PM December 20, 2024 (Beijing Time)

* Please note that the period from December 21 to December 31 is still considered the first application round for the THU-NTU program. Candidates applying in the first round will have a higher chance of securing the scholarship.

2nd Round: 8:00 AM January 1, 2025-5:00 PM February 28, 2025 (Beijing Time)

3rd Round: 8:00 AM March 1, 2025-5:00 PM March 28, 2025 (Beijing Time)

* The winter break at THU will be from Jan. 16, 2025 to Feb. 12, 2025. The application system will still be available during the winter break, but online verification might be delayed due to the vacation. First-round applicants are therefore recommended to complete their application at least two or three weeks in advance.

Tuition Fees

The tuition for this program includes two components:

Tsinghua University: 50,000 RMB per year multiplied by the student's total study duration (two years at Tsinghua University).

Nanyang Technological University: Tuition fees are determined according to the standard for each academic year (the total tuition fees for Academic year 2025-2026 are 43,000 Singapore dollars).

1. Personal statement (in Chinese).

2. Degree certificate.

3. Academic transcript.

4. Two academic recommendation letters.

5. Chinese and English proficiency requirements.

1) All applicants need to submit an IELTS score of at least 6.5 or a TOEFL score of at least 100;

2) All applicants need to submit an HSK Level 4 (or higher) certificate with a score of 195 (or higher). Please note that the Chinese Proficiency certificate can be waived if the applicant submits a transcript confirming undergraduate education or lower-level education (at least two years) in China or a transcript of master's courses conducted in Chinese.

All certificates and documents must be original copies or notarized in Chinese or English. If they are in other languages, please provide notarized translations in Chinese or English.
