Tsinghua-NTU Global Science Communication Dual Degree Master's Program

Program Overview

The Tsinghua-NTU Global Science Communication Dual Degree Master's Program (THU-NTU Program) is a three-year dual master's degree program jointly established by the School of Journalism and Communication at Tsinghua University and the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University. This program seeks exceptional international students from around the world. Students will obtain a Master's degree in Journalism and Communication from Tsinghua University and a Master's degree in Media and Communication from Nanyang Technological University.

The THU-NTU Program is offered in both Chinese and English. Over three years, students spend their first and third years at Tsinghua University's School of Journalism and Communication, while the second year is spent at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information at Nanyang Technological University. Graduates receive dual master's degrees upon completion.

Training Objectives

The THU-NTU Program is designed to develop multifaceted talents who possess a profound understanding and hands-on expertise in the principles of global scientific and technological growth and effective science communication. Students will learn about trends in emerging media technologies, utilize communication tools to advance the innovative progress of tech enterprises, and grasp essential principles and techniques for disseminating scientific and technological knowledge while promoting scientific awareness globally. They will refine their practical skills and foster innovative thinking in science communication, creating a communication bridge for international scientific and technological collaboration.
